Renold Jeffrey Expands In-House Production

Renold Jeffrey is pleased to announce the recent addition of a state-of-the-art laser cutting machine and CNC to its Morristown, Tennessee Manufacturing Facility. This specialty laser machine, along with the new CNC mill, makes up Renold Jeffrey’s Custom Attachment CenterTM (CAC). This state of the art center opens the door to new opportunities which Renold Jeffrey would have previously had difficulty fulfilling, due to long lead times or tooling issues.

The Morristown, TN plant is making great strides in increasing its efficiency, capabilities, and productivity. The increased efficiency can be seen first-hand in the overwhelming success of the recently launched Rapid Response program for standard attachment chain products. President David Richards states that “We are focused on increasing the efficiency of all our processes. As we increase efficiency, the more productive we can be and the new Custom Attachment Center is a great addition, creating a much wider range of possibilities.”

The Custom Attachment Center was created to fulfill the toughest Made-to-Order requests faster than traditional stamping and bending processes. With the ability to create complex attachment contours and bent attachments, and efficiently produce highly specialized pins for standard ANSI, British Standard, or custom size chains, the Custom Attachment Center delivers speed and flexibility for innovative attachment chain design and development.

Mr. Richards also states, “Each job is assessed based on the size and complexity, but the Custom Attachment Center gives us many new options.” He continues, “It will significantly reduce lead times, and in many cases reduce or eliminate special tooling costs.” Renold Jeffrey prides itself on providing outstanding customer service and support, and this is just another example of how Renold Jeffrey strives to put the customer first.
